Halden's Internship Week 3

I’m three weeks in! For my third week at Razoyo, I transitioned from working on the demo site to starting development on the refactored version of the company’s website. Setting up the environment went smoothly since I had already done it once for the demo site. I began working on importing all the company’s past blog posts. Figuring out the ideal structure for all that data was a unique challenge, especially with the constraints of CloudCannon, but we managed to work it out in the end.

By adding a script to organize the blogpost files, I was able to add the ability for a dev to run a command that fully organizes the posts based on date. This was a unique challenge, as I have never used a script of this nature, but it ended up working well. At this point, the site looks very bare, but I have faith that it will come together really soon. This will be my first time using tailwind, so I look forward to learning and styling the site with it.

It was rewarding to apply my knowledge to something on a larger scale, and I am excited to continue this project in the coming weeks. I’ve also gained a better understanding of data management and content organization, which has been valuable. Working through these challenges has been a good learning experience, and I look forward to seeing how these improvements will enhance the website.
